GOLFGATE, LLC (also referred to as “the Company”) is a Holding Company headquartered in Boca Raton, Palm Beach County, Florida. The Company started operations in June 2017. GOLFGATE operates with intentions of further expanding into golf tourism, hospitality, real estate, media, apparel, gear, and other golf asset management.
The Founders, Uriel Rubinov and Johan Mihkelson Ringqvist were introduced through a mutual acquaintance in 2017. Uriel and Johan both expressed interest in working together through a partnership in South Florida golf tourism and golf course acquisition. Their goal was to enhance Ekholmsnäs Golf Lidingö Member experience. The mutually desired objective is to acquire a golf course in South Florida with hotel and/or residential real estate development opportunities.
Uriel Rubinov
Uriel Rubinov is a Co-Founder and acts as local Florida Partner for the Company. Mr. Rubinov is currently the Director of Credit Veritas US, LLC. Previously, Mr. Rubinov worked on Wall Street for over 15 years, including six years of experience with JP Morgan Chase Bank. For the past 10 years, Mr. Rubinov has been involved in consulting for businesses on a global scale. Mr. Rubinov is familiar with businesses associated with finance, real estate, hospitality, development and construction. Mr. Rubinov is a Licensed Real Estate Agent in Florida and New York. He lives in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife and three daughters.
Johan Mihkelson Ringqvist
Johan Mihkelson Ringqvist is a Co-Founder and acts as a local Sweden Partner for the Company. Mr. Ringqvist is also the Owner and Founder of Ekholmsnäs Golf Lidingö (Sweden). Mr. Ringqvist is considered to have broad experience in all parts of the golf industry. In the beginning Mr. Ringqvist started as a professional golfer, later as a golf instructor, and today owner of the largest golf club, by member count, in the world. Mr. Ringqvist planned, designed, funded, built, and currently manages the Ekholmsnäs Golf Lidingö with good economy and growth. His education is in economics, marketing, and coaching.
